Vegan Fruit Gummies
If you’re looking for a tasty and healthy treat that’s perfect for parties, kids, and adults alike, look no further than these vegan fruit gummies! Made with agar agar, fruit juice, and sugar, these gummies are easy to prepare and absolutely delicious.
Quick Note: Agar agar, a plant-based gelling agent is derived from seaweed and is a perfect alternative to gelatin.
You can use any type of fruit juice you like for these gummies, so feel free to get creative! Some great options include apple, orange, grape, and pineapple. You can also mix and match to create your own unique flavor combinations.

Vegan Fruit Gummies
Recipe Video
Ingredients
- 1 cup fruit juice of your choice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons agar agar powder
Instructions
- Set a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add fruit juice + sugar + agar-agar powder.
- Mix well and bring to a boil. Keep boiling for 1 minute.
- Turn off the heat and immediately pour the mixture onto a silicone mold.
- Gently transfer the mold to your fridge and let it chill for 15-20 minutes.
Notes
- Feel free to experiment with multiple fruit juices. You can also combine 2-3 different juices for exciting flavors.
- The nutritional chart is based on the batch where I used cranberry juice.
- You can use any type of sugar you like - white, brown, coconut, etc. - or even try using a sugar substitute like stevia or erythritol to reduce the overall sugar content.

They’re not bad. The texture is pretty strange and unlike any other vegan fruit snack or gummy I’ve had.
My tot is allergic to dyes beef eggs milk. Nuts. Potatoes and many more things. Its such a blessing to find things he can have. Thank You for sharing. I made his first ever fruit snacks that hes never reacted to. 🥰🥰🥰
