Vegan Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients
- 2.5 cups soy milk (or your fav plant milk)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons sugar (or your fav sweetener)
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- Tapioca starch slurry (1 tbsp tapioca starch + 2 tbsp water) *
- Pinch of salt
- Vegan marshmallows
Instructions
- Set a saucepan over medium heat. Add soy milk + cocoa powder + sugar + dark chocolate chips.
- Using a whisker, whisk everything until smooth.
- Once it's smooth, add salt + tapioca starch slurry. Mix again and bring it to a boil.
- Keep boiling for 20-30 seconds. Vegan hot chocolate is ready.
- Top it with vegan marshmallows and enjoy!
Notes
- You can also use cornstarch instead of tapioca starch.
- The nutritional chart does not contain macros from vegan marshmallows.
