Minty Matcha Protein Smoothie
Hi friends! You’ve got to try this delicious matcha protein smoothie.
Super refreshing and a perfect beverage to start your day.
I’m calling it ‘Desi’ because of a special Indian ingredient Sattu (roasted gram flour). You should be able to find them in any Indian grocery store. Please note: These are not the same as chickpea flour.

Minty Matcha Protein Smoothie
Ingredients
- 4 large bananas
- 1/2 cup sattu (roasted gram flour)
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- Handful of mint
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup soy milk
- 7 Ice cubes
Instructions
- Blend everything in a blender until smooth.
- Minty matcha protein smoothie is ready. Enjoy!
Notes
- The smoothie starts to turn dark almost immediately because of the mint leaves. So I suggest you consume it ASAP.
- Please use frozen bananas for a creamier texture.
