1 Minute Matcha Mug Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoons soy milk (or your fav plant milk)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, add flour + matcha + powdered sugar + salt + baking soda. Mix well.
- Add oil + soy milk. Mix well until the mixture is smooth.
- Microwave for 1 minute. Your matcha mug cake is ready. Serve hot.

I think I made a world record. Found your recipe through your Reddit post 7 minutes ago. Gathered all the ingredients and made this cake 3 minutes ago and here I am reviewing it. In case anyone else is considering making this gluten free: I tried it with Bob’s Red Mill GF 1:1 baking flour, and the texture is pretty good!

so delicious! Had to use matcha latte powder because I didn’t have the right one so I just used a bit more and I just love it. What I found really interesting was once in cake form and you squash it into a dough, it’s kind of opaque!
